Configure wallet to BSC chain

Installing and setting up MetaMask

MetaMask can be downloaded on Chrome and Firefox, or on iOS and Android if you’re a mobile user.
You can also use Brave Browser’s built-in Crypto Wallets, which is a fork of MetaMask.

Firstly, you’ll want to head over to the MetaMask download page. From there, select your platform, and follow the steps to install it on your device.

Next, follow along with the setup specified by the app. Go ahead and click Create a Wallet. Write down the backup seed phrase somewhere secret.

Confirm that you’ve written them down on the next page.

Connect Metamask to Binance Smart Chain:

Go to settings > network then Add Network at bottom

Network Name Binance Smart Chain

New RPC URL https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

Chain ID 0x38
Symbol (optional) BNB

Block Explorer URL (optional) https://bscscan.com/

if you have connection problems try to change RPC URL to
https://bsc-dataseed1.binance.org/ or https://bsc-dataseed2.binance.org/

Add HTHB Homeless Binance Token to Metamask:

In metamask at bottom of Assets click Add tokens, > Custom token then add:
Contract address: 0x62eab2c299c991391e707b79fe4a2f59bbdad805
Symbol: HTHB
Precicion: 9

❗️Back up your Private Key!

Click the 3 dots at right side of your address in Metamask, and select Account Details. Select Export Private Key, and put your password. Write down the Private Key and store it somewhere secure and offline.
If you make several accounts/addresses repeat this step for all of them.

PS: You will need a small amount of BNB to be able to send and use your funds on Binance Smart Chain. You can buy BNB at most exchanges, make sure they can be withdrawn as BEP20 tokens to BSC.
